Standard I: Movement Elements. Identifying and demonstrating movement elements and skills in performing dance.

Standard II: Choreography. Understanding choreographic principles, processes, and structures.

Standard III: Communication. Understanding dance as a way to create and communicate meaning.

Standard IV: Thinking. Applying and demonstrating critical and creative thinking skills in dance.

Standard V: Cultural Understanding. Demonstrating and understanding dance in various cultures and historical periods.

Standard VI: Wellness. Making connections between dance and healthful living.

Standard VII: Integrated Learning. Making connections between dance and other disciplines.
