Teaching-Learning Scenarios
The teacher who makes little allowance for individual differences in the classroom is an indivudal who makes little difference in the lives of students.
William A. Ward
The following scenarios are provided
in order to help teachers (or teachers in training) reflect about their
practices so students are afforded the best possible learning opportunities.
Scenarios are based on actual observed events--not to criticize those
in our field--but to learn from mistakes so we avoid making the same
ones repetitively. After reflecting about a given scenario, those interested
may select the "critique" which suggests potential compliments
and/or criticisms.
