TanakhML Project

TanakhML Project aims at providing scholars with efficient tools for travelling over the Bible in Hebrew, as well as with a common descriptive language for describing the structure of the Bible according to the Jewish masoretic tradition.

TanakhML is thus, stricto sensu, that specific language, described according to the XML meta-language, used to express the structure of the Hebrew Bible, or Tanakh (Tanach), as formalised by the Jewish tradition, or Masorah.

New English Translation of the Septuagint

NETS is a new translation of the Greek Jewish Scriptures, entitled A New English Translation of the Septuagint and the Other Greek Translations Traditionally Included Under that Title (and abbreviated as NETS). This project is being carried out under the aegis of The International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies (IOSCS).

GNT of the Perseus Project at Tufts Univ. Contains the full lemmatized Westcott & Hort text of the GNT. Provides tools for lexical and morphological analysis. Tony Fisher's edition of N.A.26 from U. Penn.'s CCAT project. Contains the full lemmatized text of the GNT that allows for word searches. You can search for all perfect imperatives, for example, or all plural occurrences of a given word. Individual words are tagged with parsing information.

Includes Strong's Exhaustive Concordance.

The Unbound Bible at Biola Univ.

A good Bible resource for generally older versions of the Bible. Also provides access to Hebrew Bible and Greek New Testament along with a number of ancient versions and many modern language translations.

Their Greek text uses the Symbol font, which is already on most computers.

Note: The Hebrew and Greek text is unaccented/unpointed.
