Welcome to PSY330:

The Development of Exceptional Individuals

Whether you become a teacher, psychologist, social worker, or other professional, parent, or a family member, you will know someone with a disability or you yourself may have a disability. Gaining more knowledge about the characteristics and challenges various disabilities present, and, more importantly, how we should respond to individuals with a disability are two of the primary goals of this course.

This web page is designed to be a resource for you as you progress through this course and discuss these issues. Various advocacy and informational organizations are linked here for your use as we cover these topics in the classroom. It may also be a good place to begin for your group projects.
