    • Presentation on the topic. You can read it in powerpoint format or in simple webpage format.
In either case, follow the links that lead you to various websites, and do the exercises.
    • Read at least one article from the Personality Study folder in the Course Library section of the Blackboard Course.
  2. Assignments

    • Optional: study guide quiz on Ch 1. Study guide quizzes are optional. They are not counted into your grade. They consist of 10 questions. You can re-take the quiz as many times as you want, the questions will be different each time.
    • Required: test on Ch 1. The test is composed of 20 question, time is limited to 40 minutes. If you go overtime, I will have to accept your score manually, and you will see a red exclamation point in your grade intil I have adjusted things. You may use your book or notes. You may re-take the test several times. The questions will be different each time. Blackboard will only retain your last attempt.
    • Required: discussion forum postings. Postings are graded on the basis of their thoughtfulness, relevance and idea development. Your main posting should be a couple of paragraphs long. Your replies may be shorter: a paragraph or so. Don't just reply something like: "I liked what you said etc..", explain why you found the posting insightful or interesting and how it complements (or differs from) your own ideas.
      • In the articles about personality study forum, post your comments in the thread that correspond to the article you have read. What do you think of the study and its findings? Anything similar in your experience or that of someone you know? Reply to one of your colleagues' postings (in your topic thread or in another one). You may post more if you wish. I will keep track of your additional postings for possible extra credit, if they are well-developed contributions to the discussion.
      • In the what is personality forum, post a couple of paragraphs about what you think personality is, and what is at this point your own personality theory. Reply to one of your colleagues' postings. You may post more if you wish. I will keep track of your additional postings for possible extra credit, if they are well-developed contributions to the discussion.
