1. Who would you admit into an exclusive University?

Look at these cases:

Decide, looking at the SAT's and other factors..
Then look at who was admitted and why? Do you agree with the decisions? Why? Why not?

2. What is the SAT? Where did it come from?

Did the SAT rest on environmental or hereditarian presuppositions? Explain.
Does the SAT make access to scholarship moneys more equalitarian as its founders hoped?

Should the quality of the instruction in school districts/schools be judged by computing the average SAT scores of their students? Use the article on the SAT uploaded in the course library of the Blackboard course to come to a conclusion.

What sort of an organization is ETS? Look at the ETS site. What do you think of its work?

On the ETS site, find the GRE. Is the GRE an aptitude test or an achievement test, what do you think?

3. What is the ACT? How is it similar/different from the SAT

Go look at the history of the ACT
How is it different from/similar to that of the SAT?
